Completely agree! She’s just been getting stronger and stronger with her consistent and very compelling nuts and bolts message that the Democratic Party needs to genuinely fight for the poor and middle class. Those demographics really have lost economic ground over the last 20+ years, in spite of what the typical economic indicators (GDP, CPI, unemployment) suggest (see Politico article: https://apple.news/AmiYNu4FVQwiJstrHI6aswg)
Look at a short list of political leaders in the U.S. in terms of charisma… Reagan (movie star), Schwarzenegger (movie star), Jesse Ventura (pro wrestler), but these are either independent or republican politicians… democrats have liked wonks… Buttigieg is hugely charismatic for Democrats but these red states see him as wonky elite… I do like the idea of a movie star as a choice for political leader for the Democratic Party… or a TV star. Fight fire with fire… Maybe we could convince Jerry Seinfeld or how about Ted Danson? lol 😀 They both starred in highly popular fictional TV shows…
Really encouraging to have the perspective of someone who has lived through it. I agree that our federal system provides some bulwark against even more rampant executive overreach and legislative capitulation.
I also think Trump’s rizz has peaked—witness his net approval and his being gelded in the Oval Office by Musk and li’l X.
IMO the politician with the rizz right now is AOC.

Also - is Trump’s tent really that big? Not so sure about that…
