And of course Trump’s federal government is shot through with men accused of sexually abusing women and girls, including Elon Musk, Matt Gaetz, Pete Hegseth and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., as well as Linda McMahon, a woman alleged to have enabled such abuse.

So there are now multiple avowed white nationalists, white supremacists, and virulent antisemites serving as officials in Trump’s administration. As it happens, many of the government officials, including Trump, are also sexual predators. How did we get here? This development tracks with the rise of the Internet.
