Taiwan pushes in its chips
We, America, are the threat to democracy. Other democracies now must defend themselves against us. That's why TSMC is paying $100b in protection.
The Dow, as you’ve surely heard, slammed the door and flung itself in fits of tears on an unmade bed. Eyeliner running down its face. It’s down 650 points. Oh, that emo, Death-Cab-for-Cutie stock market—it simply doesn’t like Trump’s tariffs. No no no no no! The is the worst GDP growth since Covid!!!!
But apparently Trump doesn’t care about a crash. His old preoccupation with the market—and certainly with America’s economic well-being—is gone with the rest of the song-and-dance about the wall and infrastructure. He doesn’t care about his base. What good are they to him now?
These days he’s deep in hock, and scrambling to pay back his demon overlords. Putin and Musk handed him the presidency and kept him out of prison. Now is the time he must be grateful! Say thank you, as J.D. Vance might say! To Putin he promised Europe. To Musk he promised America.
