Anarcho-fascism is like Woke MAGA. It is self-deconstructing.

And yet: That’s the potage of political philosophies the Musk junta seems to have in its crockpot.

Alles in Ordnung, German for “all in order,” is a good way to think of fascism’s goals. Fascism sees rigid hierarchy as the the royal road to social order and the fulfillment of the destiny of a superior race.

You can tell when fascism is around because there’s autocracy, pageantry, punctuality, discipline, physical and material vanity including weight-lifting, jiu-jitsu, fast cars, and palatial houses.

Aesthetics is a crucial and often-forgotten component of fascism. The fixation of white men like Joe Rogan, Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, and RFK Jr, on mixed martial arts, manliness, hygiene, meat diets, supplements, and a swole strongman look puts them squarely in the fascist aesthetic.

The way these men look—Trump’s makeup and gilded plumage, Bezos’s and Kennedy’s steroidal physiques straining against their mutton-dressed-as-lamb shirts—is key to the ideology.
