What good is it to debate the dimensions of a box? 

None. You measure a box and that’s it. And yet campaigners keep using their voices to settle empirical questions that are best resolved with rulers. 

But now that the bellowing classes are calling for cage fights to settle their disputes, it might be time to drop the debate charade altogether. In short: If these guys want to measure a box, get out the tape. If they want to dominate each other, they should admit it’s violence they’re after.
